Cooking Mentor

Are you passionate about cooking and sharing your knowledge with others? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities and autism?

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic cooking mentor to join our team at SeeAbility. As a cooking mentor, you will have the opportunity to share your passion for cooking with our service users and help them develop new skills and confidence in the kitchen.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead cooking sessions and provide guidance and support to our service users. You will work closely with our experienced chefs to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards.

As a mentor, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users and contribute to their overall well-being. You will also have the opportunity to develop new skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cooking sessions and provide guidance and support to service users
  • Assist in meal preparation and cooking
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment

Requirements:

  • Experience in cooking and leading groups
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
