Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Special Education Needs Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students with special educational needs in the Morecambe area.

The successful candidate will need to be patient, empathetic, and able to create tailored learning plans that meet the individual needs of each student. A therapeutic approach may also be required to re-engage students with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN requirements
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and carers
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with SEN or in an SEN setting
  • QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience
  • UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential

Estimated salary: £25 per hour. Working hours can vary depending on the family's schedule.
