As a Marketing Executive at CABI, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across our university and library customers. This role requires a creative and analytical individual who can effectively communicate the value of our products to librarians, researchers, and institutional decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, advertising, and events, with a focus on revenue growth. * Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools, providing regular reports and actionable insights to improve effectiveness and drive sales. * Collaborate with the wider marketing, sales, product, and design teams to create compelling marketing materials across various channels, such as printed materials, presentation slide decks, email campaigns, social media, and advertising. * Work with the Marketing Engagement Executive to map out processes and trigger points for audience segments to create email automations for lead generation and usage campaigns. * Collaborate closely with the publishing marketing and sales team to develop and implement strategies that support sales objectives, including lead generation, e-commerce, customer acquisition, usage, and retention initiatives.
About You
* Strong understanding of marketing activities and communication channels, ideally in publishing or academic markets. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and teams. * Commercially focused, analytical, and proactive. * Strong ability to manage deadlines. * Experience with CRM databases (e.g., Salesforce) is advantageous. * Familiarity with email builders and website CMS tools is a plus.
Education
* Degree in marketing or publishing or CIM qualification would be preferred.
