We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Business Development Manager to join our Construction South region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying project opportunities across the South London region and developing strong business relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a 3-5 year pipeline of opportunities through in-depth understanding of our service offering and generating own sales leads.
- Encourage sales leads to be generated by all other LCO staff and manage allocated accounts.
- Maintain and update the CRM to inform our marketing activities and represent the business in the geographical area/sector focus to develop networks and WD profile.
- Manage and attend all WD and industry events, selling our frameworks alongside the WD offer.
- High level of verbal communication skills and networking.
- Ability to develop long term customer relationships to create growth opportunities.
- Able to identify and qualify new business opportunities in line with our strategic plan.
- Present to all levels of seniority from individuals to groups.
- Use the resources of the LCO to capture sales leads.
- Create, manage and analyse Sales & Marketing data and reporting.
- Influencing skills.
- Proven relationship management and networking abilities.
- High levels of personal energy with the ability to work both independently and as part of a passionate dynamic team.
- Experience of working with or for local authorities.
- Degree in Business Management.
