About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate a vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Work independently, managing your own time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
- Valid UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to walk for long periods and work in a variety of weather conditions
- Strong sense of community and pride in delivering excellent service to customers
What We Offer
- Competitive monthly salary equivalent to an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr
- Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
- 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
