Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interpreting instructions, completing diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and services to vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret instructions from the repair order, complying with repair instructions and stipulated settings and tolerances
  • Complete diagnostics, inspections, repairs, and services to vehicles
  • Record work done and tests carried out, reporting on additional work required
  • Liaise with other departments to complete the repair
  • Support customers on technical/product matters
  • Keep up to date with the most recent changes in technology, techniques, and commercial developments
  • Undertake MOTs and re-test, working within the DVSA framework

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with a minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified technician
  • MOT licence (desirable)
  • Able to achieve high productivity, efficiency, and be customer-focused
  • A high level of accuracy with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
