As a Marketing Senior Coordinator within BCG’s Climate & Sustainability (C&S) Practice Area, you will play a crucial role in executing our marketing strategy to build C&S positioning in the market and strengthen client relationships. You will be responsible for global marketing and communication activities across various channels. The team is seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest in Climate & Sustainability.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will handle the following key responsibilities:


  • Publishing Management: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop publications, including reports, articles, and blogs.
  • Marketing Planning: Create marketing plans to promote content across publications and events, selecting appropriate formats and channels for dissemination.
  • Communication Integration: Liaise with central marketing functions, including PR, editorial, web, social, and paid media teams, to integrate their expertise into C&S marketing efforts.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging assets for channels such as the web, social media, and email using design tools like Figma and working with designers within BCG.
  • Internal Communications: Manage the firmwide internal newsletter and other internal communications to create engagement with BCG teams across C&S.
  • Social Media Management: Drive the social media program for C&S leaders at BCG, creating and disseminating weekly content, reviewing performance, and optimizing to meet objectives.
  • Content Maintenance: Maintain content on the BCG.com C&S pages, keeping them up-to-date and optimizing based on performance.
  • Event Support: Support the delivery of C&S events and event sponsorships, including invitation campaigns, logistics management, on-the-ground support, and pre- and post-event communications.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with various PA marketing teams and external partners to assist in the execution of joint initiatives.
  • Team Management: Manage the team’s trackers and SharePoint to enable efficiency and collaboration.
  • Junior Development: Coach and help develop junior members of the team.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:


  • Project Management: Comfortable operating on a global team with multiple stakeholders and varying priorities, with strong project management skills and a focus on execution and attention to detail.
  • Writing and Communication: Strong writing skills, with the ability to create engaging copy across various formats for different audiences.
  • Digital Marketing: Proficient in using digital marketing and design tools, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Analysis and Improvement: Able to analyze marketing performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled in managing initiatives or smaller programs with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
  • Network Building: Experienced in building and leveraging a strong internal network with trusted relationships.
  • Pioneering and Entrepreneurial Thinking: Pioneering and entrepreneurial thinking with complex project management skills.
  • Jr. Team Development: Willingness to act as a buddy for more junior team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have:


  • 4-6 Years of Relevant Marketing Experience: In Consulting or Professional Services.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: In a relevant field.
  • Climate & Sustainability Interest: A strong interest in Climate & Sustainability in business, with experience an advantage.
  • Independent Decision Making: Ability to handle defined work areas, processes, or smaller projects with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent Execution and Organizational Skills: Strong execution, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven analytical capabilities.
  • Professional Attitude: Highly professional, proactive, and flexible attitude.
  • Performance under Pressure: Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in high-pressure situations.
  • Digital Marketing Tools: Experience working with digital marketing tools like CRM, Marketo, Salesforce.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
