Civils Project Manager Opportunity in West Northamptonshire


Are you an experienced Site Agent with a strong infrastructure background looking to take on a new challenge? This dynamic Civils Project Manager role, based in West Northamptonshire, presents a unique opportunity to work on complex engineering contracts and be part of a leading UK engineering contractor.



About the Role

This is a key position within our client's team, responsible for overseeing the successful completion of a £40m viaduct project as part of the HS2 development. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in civils project management, with a strong background in engineering and a proven track record of delivering projects on time.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and leadership to the project team, ensuring all aspects are delivered to the highest standard
  • Manage and coordinate resources, including planning, budgeting, and risk assessment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective project delivery
  • Maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards


Requirements

  • At least 7 years' experience in civils project management, with a strong focus on heavy civils and structures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Degree-qualified or chartered, with a deep understanding of project management principles and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
