About PQShield

We are a pioneering company in the field of post-quantum cryptography, established since 2018. We are looking for an experienced Hardware Engineering Director to lead the development of our next-generation hardware products.

Job Summary

This is a key leadership role that requires a strong technical background in hardware design, cryptography, and semiconductor development. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the hardware engineering strategy, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality hardware products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the hardware engineering strategy, aligning with the company's overall product roadmap.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, including hardware designers, ASIC/FPGA designers, and hardware security experts.
  • Stay informed about trends in post-quantum cryptography and its hardware implementations.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of cryptographic hardware accelerators and secure IP blocks.
  • Drive project management and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement rigorous testing and verification methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hardware design experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience in hardware security, cryptographic hardware implementations, and knowledge of post-quantum cryptography.
  • Experience in ASIC/FPGA design and validation.
  • Proven experience in bringing secure hardware products from concept to production.
