Job Title: Water Systems Analyst

Location: South Wales (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Water Systems Analyst to contribute to our team at Advance TRS, focusing on wastewater network analysis. This role entails using hydraulic modelling to investigate system dynamics, forecast the impact of modifications, and develop enhancement strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess significant UK experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling and proficiency in InfoWorks ICM.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain the hydraulic model library for accurate water system analysis.
  2. Design and implement modelling strategies to support operational incident response, development planning, and environmental management.
  3. Perform hydraulic assessments and optioneering using InfoWorks ICM to optimise system performance.
  4. Offer expert advice to internal teams and external partners on water systems analysis.
  5. Create and review comprehensive reports with intervention assessments for informed decision-making.
  6. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in modelling processes and tools for improved water system management.
About YouEssential Requirements
  1. Degree in Civil Engineering, Science, or a related analytical field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in UK wastewater hydraulic modelling, with strong proficiency in InfoWorks ICM.
  3. Understanding of wastewater networks, treatment processes, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under pressure.
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders effectively.

Advance TRS offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a hybrid working arrangement that balances office attendance and remote work.
