Citi is seeking a Business Risk Officer to join our Markets Operational Risk and Control unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing high-risk processes and identifying gaps in controls to minimize transaction processing risk within our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments and materiality evaluations to determine target process inventory.
  • Collaborate with Markets Senior Management and stakeholders to deliver integrated high-risk process-led assessments.
  • Partner with Front Office, Operations, Finance, Technology, Legal, Operational Risk Management, and Independent Compliance Risk Management to design and implement global operational control assessments.
  • Assess and test end-to-end risks and controls to identify gaps in existing Managers' Control Assessment frameworks.
  • Report results, raise issues, and track to resolution by collaborating with Markets Transformation to ensure issues have corresponding implementable actions and ownership.
  • Write reports and action plans in collaboration with key business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to creating a global team of highly skilled individuals with diverse experience in related disciplines.

Requirements

We are looking for a strong understanding of operational processes, risks, and related controls associated with Markets businesses. Experience in financial services, project management implementation, and a track record of delivering high-quality results are essential.
