Careers Education Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Careers Education Coordinator to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all students receive high-quality, impartial careers education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a careers education strategy that aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks, preparing students at both KS3 and KS4 for important transitions.
  • Build relationships with universities, further education providers, and local businesses to create career pathways.
  • Provide one-to-one and group guidance to students, helping them explore educational and vocational opportunities.
  • Support students at risk of becoming NEET by tracking their progress and offering personalized advice.
  • Organize work experience placements and career events in collaboration with staff and external agencies.

Person Specification:
  • 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) at grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills (proficient in MS Word and Excel).
  • A friendly and professional demeanor, with experience working to deadlines.
  • Desirable: A degree in a relevant field or working towards a Level 6 qualification in Career Development.
