As a Strategic Capital Projects Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our operations at the Newport Specialty Elastomers Plant.

About the Role

This opportunity offers a unique chance to lead and manage significant capital investment projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of Environmental Health and Safety while staying within budget and time constraints.

You will be responsible for leading the implementation of new or modified processes and plant equipment, from initial design development to construction and handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage capital investment projects at the Newport Specialty Elastomers Plant.
  • Ensure all projects comply with Environmental Health and Safety requirements and within cost and time goals.
  • Work closely with the Continuous Improvement Leader, Reliability Lead, and Maintenance Manager.
  • Liaise with the Global Capital Team to ensure the correct level of spend and control.
  • Develop and execute the annual and 5-year Capital Plan.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering-related degree or similar level of experience.
  • Proven project management experience, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in using SAP or other Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
