Site Manager

As a Site Manager at CV Library, you will be responsible for leading a team of site-based professionals to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects. Your primary focus will be on motivating, supporting, and managing the site team to achieve the required health, safety, and environmental performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective site management strategies to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Lead and manage a team of site-based professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties.
- Monitor and control site costs, ensuring they are within budget and that any variances are reported and addressed promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures, and that all site-based staff are aware of and adhere to these policies.
- Collaborate with project managers and area build managers to develop and implement project plans, and to ensure that construction methods and timescales are met.
- Agree and manage equipment, plant, staffing, and sub-contract requirements for the site.
- Monitor the performance and effectiveness of direct reports, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
- CSCS card at Site Manager level.
- Valid SMSTS certificate.
- Full UK driving license.
- BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4 or similar.
- 5 years' experience as a Site Manager.
- Ability to chair and run meetings.
- Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation.
- Able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Valid Scaffold Appreciation Certificate.
- Valid LOLER certificate.
- Trade background.
