Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive nurse to join our dynamic nursing team at Seaside Medical Centre. The successful candidate will provide holistic nursing services to our diverse patient population, utilising a questioning approach to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

Main Responsibilities

• Meet the needs of a diverse population in line with local and national policy.
• Carry out immunisations, including routine, travel, and newly developed treatments.
• Assist in diagnostic treatments such as blood tests, peak flow, and ECG, spirometry.
• Provide long-term treatments to patients with cancer, osteoporosis, or blood disorders.
• Support patients with new diagnoses by providing information and guidance.
• Provide expert nursing treatments for minor injuries, management of leg ulcers and wounds, and ear irrigation.
• Provide lifestyle coaching and advice to patients with long-term conditions.

We are a large team comprising of Drs, ANPs, Nurses, Admin, and reception team, working together to provide a high standard of care for our patients.

Person Specification

• Relevant nursing/health degree.
• Demonstrable commitment to professional development.
• Registered nurse with a desire to work in General Practice.
• Awareness of accountability of own role and other roles in a nurse-led service.
• Knowledge of health promotion strategies.
• Awareness of clinical governance issues in primary care.
• Knowledge of patient group directions and associated policy.
