Location: North of Norwich

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £45,000.00 per annum (plus overtime)

Holidays: 33 days per year, including Bank Holidays


Job Summary

ISQ Recruitment is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join a multinational company in the FMCG sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a production team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Health and Safety: Manage health and safety issues for the department during the shift, ensuring a zero-accident mentality.
  2. Production Planning: Ensure the production team follows health and safety procedures and rules, including safety alerts and correct use of personal protective equipment.
  3. Quality and Cost Management: Ensure production meets cell strategy, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
  4. Shift Handovers: Ensure effective and complete shift handovers by team members.
  5. Waste Reduction: Identify and implement measures to reduce waste.
  6. Performance Management: Manage on-shift performance management, disciplinary, resource, and incident issues.
  7. Meetings and Reporting: Attend and present cell daily review and other relevant meetings.
  8. Team Development: Develop and implement team induction, development, and succession planning.

Requirements
  1. Health and Safety Training: Formal health and safety management skills training.
  2. FMCG Experience: Essential experience in the FMCG sector.
  3. Technical Understanding: Technical/operational understanding of production processes.
  4. Process Knowledge: Prior hands-on experience of the process area they will manage.
  5. Quality Systems: Quality systems awareness.
  6. IT Literacy: IT literate with experience of MS Office.
  7. Leadership Skills: Ability to train, coach, and mentor others.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within the FMCG food or engineering sectors.
