Job Summary

Entrust Resource Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytical Biochemist to join our team in a Biotechnology environment. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will provide comprehensive bioanalytical support and expertise to drive the development of biobased products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust analytical methods and workflows for the characterization of large and small molecules, including protein/proteomic-based and peptide analysis.
  • Generate new analytical approaches and ideas to improve working practices and enhance the efficiency of our bioprocess and biocatalysis activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other biochemists and scientists, ensuring the validity of all analytical data produced.
  • Lead on projects, defining and delivering suitable analytical projects for a wide range of bioprocess and biocatalysis-related activities.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and advise others as required.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc/PhD in Biochemistry or a related subject.
  • Proven skills and experience in analytical biochemistry techniques, with a focus on LC-MS and Q-TOF-MS systems.
  • R&D experience in a bioprocessing/biocatalysis environment, including downstream processing and product isolation.
