Electrical and Mechanical Safety Advisor Opportunity

Design Build Search is seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Mechanical Safety Advisor to join their team on a high-profile commercial construction project in Cheshunt, North of London. This is a permanent position with excellent opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Monitor and report on site accidents and incidents, and support the implementation of corrective actions
  • Collaborate with the safety team to promote a positive safety culture and proactive approach to health and safety
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety procedures and protocols
  • Provide training and guidance to site staff on health and safety best practices
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in a relevant field, such as safety or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in construction project management, with a focus on electrical and mechanical projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate health and safety risks
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports
