We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultancy Partner to lead our Private Client Tax service offering. As a key leadership role, you will manage a portfolio of high net worth individuals and drive business growth through innovative approaches.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in Inheritance Tax (IHT), Trusts, family investment companies, intergenerational planning, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), residence, and domicile. You will also have experience in managing and motivating teams, with a focus on creating an innovative and collaborative working environment.

This is a flexible role that can be based in any of our offices across Wiltshire, Bath, and Somerset. You will play a pivotal role in both client management and team leadership, while actively contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of tailored tax consultancy services to high net worth individuals, ensuring a comprehensive wealth planning approach.
  • Oversee all aspects of personal tax compliance, trust taxation, and strategic advisory projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with proactive advice in light of tax legislation changes.
  • Work collaboratively with the tax team to ensure timely and accurate completion of client assignments.

Business Development:

  • Proactively seek and generate new business opportunities by identifying client needs and offering innovative, forward-thinking solutions.
  • Take a lead role in promoting and marketing the firm's services to new clients, while expanding and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  • Contribute to the development of new services within Private Client Tax, enhancing the firm's offering.

Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals across consulting and compliance, providing guidance, training, and feedback to support their professional growth.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, encouraging new ideas and best practices.
  • Play an active role in management meetings, ensuring effective leadership across the firm's tax functions.

Estimated Salary Range: £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
