Ecologist Position Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Ecologist to join our team at Pebble Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will work closely with our ecology team, assisting with protected species surveys and contributing to the growth and success of our client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake protected species surveys and assessments
  • Develop and manage complex projects, including fee quotations and technical reports
  • Collaborate with the ecology team to deliver high-quality services to clients
  • Manage medium to large-sized projects, tracking financial progress and ensuring timely delivery
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of industry experience in ecology or a related field
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 protected species licence (preferred)
  • Hold a full UK driving license
  • Extensive knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the ability to apply it correctly
  • Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management is preferred
