**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Site Operator at Team Recruitment (ABERDEEN) Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our hazardous waste treatment and transfer station.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Proactively Support a Safety-Centric Culture**: Embed a culture of safety and compliance throughout the site, ensuring all work activities align with our company's safety policies and procedures.
  • **Ensure Operational Compliance**: Verify that all work activities, permits, operating licenses, and Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements are met, ensuring seamless operations.
  • **Maintain Site Housekeeping**: Ensure the site is kept clean and organized at all times, adhering to our high standards of housekeeping.
  • **Operate Waste Treatment Plant Safely**: Safely and efficiently operate the waste treatment plant, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • **Maintain Plant Equipment and Vehicles**: Perform routine maintenance on plant equipment and site vehicles, including forklift trucks, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • **Operate Transfer Station Efficiently**: Safely and efficiently operate the transfer station, working closely with our Chemist to ensure smooth operations.
  • **Accurately Complete Paperwork**: Accurately complete paperwork related to weighbridge operations, working closely with our Chemist to ensure accuracy.
  • **Undertake Specific Tasks**: Perform specific tasks as required to meet business demands, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
  • **Maintain Professional Development**: Engage in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations.
  • **Manage NORM Waste Operations**: Safely and compliantly manage the storage, transfer, and treatment of NORM waste operations, adhering to our company's policies and procedures.
  • **Perform Tank Cleaning and Loading/Unloading**: Perform tank cleaning of various tote tanks and skips, including confined space entry when required, and safely and efficiently load and unload HGVs on site, including bulk tankers for loading and discharge.
