About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Next in Bournemouth.

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment. You will provide a uniformed presence to protect company assets and minimize loss.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with store teams and local police to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the store to identify and address potential security risks.
  • Work closely with store teams to ensure that company LP standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Identify and report any incidents or suspicious activity to the Regional LP Manager.
  • Provide training and support to store staff on security procedures and protocols.
  • Action any other duties as requested by the Regional LP Manager.

About You:

  • You will have previous security experience within a retail environment, although full training will be given.
  • You will be flexible and willing to work across different stores and opening times.
  • You will be comfortable with using IT systems and computers.
  • You will be a confident communicator who can build great relationships with store teams, police, and customers.
  • You will be fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings.
