About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Administrator to join our dynamic Finance Department.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support across the firm, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules.

This role will involve:

  • Daily banking functions;
  • Dealing with purchase ledger, posting invoices, processing payments and reconciling statements;
  • Processing client account transactions and preparing office payments on the finance system;
  • Assisting with weekly Legal Aid statement and Deputyship payments/receipts.
About the Team

You will be an important member of our Cash Office Team, working closely with colleagues to protect client monies and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Cashier, with a strong understanding of Solicitor Accounts Rules;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise work;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Strong numeracy skills, with GCSE Maths and English or equivalent (grade C/4 or above).

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
