Recycler Technician

Yorkshire Water is seeking a skilled Recycler Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Field Services department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our sewer network.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain recycler vehicles to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other teams and contractors to resolve operational issues and maintain a high level of service for our customers.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our sewer network.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and customers to ensure a high level of service and customer satisfaction.
- Valid EU driving license (with no more than six points) and Heavy Goods Vehicle category C license plus DCPC.
- Experience of driving vehicles with a liquid load.
- Recycler vehicle operation experience.
- Strong Health & Safety background.
- Ability to find faults and diagnose the root cause of an issue.
- Competent in the use of IT systems.
- Previous experience in a customer service role with face-to-face communication with customers.
- Knowledge and experience on working with Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to be proactive and take ownership of issues, think through problems and work with others to solve them.
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise with operations, customers, and stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
- A basic understanding of the sewer network.
- Understanding of sewerage system and network performance issues.
- Ideally you will have previous experience gained within the wastewater industry.
