Müller UK & Ireland, a leading dairy company in Europe, is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their progressive Leadership Team at the Glasgow dairy. With over 31,000 employees throughout Europe, Müller develops and markets a wide range of branded and private label dairy products made with milk from 1,300 farmers in Britain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee exit. This role would suit an experienced HR generalist or HR Advisor with a background in manufacturing, FMCG, or logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Positive Working Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with local trade union representatives to achieve business goals.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate people-related initiatives and strategy to the site workforce effectively.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver training sessions for all people managers.
  • Employee Advice: Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment.
  • Compliance Management: Drive compliance against people KPIs, such as absence and turnover.
  • HR Data Analysis: Collect and analyze HR data to develop insights and generate reports for business use.
  • Engagement and Wellbeing: Deliver an engagement and wellbeing agenda and track progress against engagement action plans.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Drive improvement in diversity and inclusion.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver continuous improvement of candidate experience from recruitment through to onboarding.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Qualified: Hold a CIPD qualification or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing/FMCG Experience: Have experience working in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Trade Union Experience: Have experience working with trade unions.
  • Business Partnering: Have experience working in a business partner/matrix structure.
  • Key Skills: Possess resilience, great influencing, and communication skills, and be able to build trust, respect, and openness.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £43,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
