CNC Machinist Job Opportunity

Reed Specialist Recruitment Ltd is working with a leading Oil and Gas industry client to find a skilled CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme, set, and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic steel.
  • Verify information on Route Cards to ensure correct drawings and materials are issued prior to manufacture.
  • Conduct self-inspections using measuring equipment and ensure processes are carried out in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are returned after use.

Requirements:

  • Time-served engineering qualification and relevant experience in a machine shop environment.
  • Previous turning experience and programming skills, including Fanuc, Mazak, and Mori Seiki.
  • Valid driving licence.
