We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic classroom teacher to join our KS1 team as a Year 2 Teacher.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students, focusing on Year 2 curriculum requirements and learning objectives.
  • Employ effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire students, ensuring academic goals are met.
  • Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing consistent feedback and setting Year 2 improvement targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create curriculum materials that enhance learning experiences and share best practices for Year 2 education.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respectful behaviour and positive relationships among Year 2 students.

Requirements
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
