We are Briggs Equipment Ltd, a leading provider of industrial equipment solutions. We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Engineer to join our team in the UK.
Job Summary:
As a Heavy Machinery Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and extending its lifespan. Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of heavy machinery.
- Fault Diagnosis: Conduct thorough fault diagnosis to identify reported breakdowns and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Customer Communication: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, explaining repair procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
Essential Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Qualifications: Relevant technical qualification in engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience working on heavy machinery, including forklifts, excavators, and bulldozers.
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, under pressure, and manage workload effectively.
