We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate English Associate Tutor to join our team at Novus, a specialist Prison Education provider. As an English Associate Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to learners in a prison setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective English language lessons to meet the needs of learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and evaluate learner progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Requirements
  • Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Be willing to develop and work towards a Level 5 Certificate in Education.
  • Have a subject specialism in English or be willing to develop one.
  • Gain and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to a career in teaching.
