We are seeking an exceptional Head of Humanities to join our highly successful and well-resourced department at Wayman Learning Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or ECT to lead the humanities faculty, teaching Key Stage 3 & 4.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of academic leadership, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students. They will be expected to work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement effective curriculum strategies.
Our school is an outstanding mixed school in Newham, known for its excellent transport links, over-subscribed status, and superb behaviour and academic results. We offer a supportive and collaborative environment, with a well-structured staff development programme.
The role requires a formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE), as well as the ability to work within the UK. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
