About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Sociology Graduate to join our team at Academics. As a Support Worker for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), you will play a vital role in providing individualized support and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere, encouraging social interactions and emotional regulation.
  • Work proactively to identify and address the needs of students, ensuring their well-being and academic success.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEN, with a strong desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, with a proactive approach to supporting students.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
