Key Responsibilities:

As a Communications and Engagement Manager with Solos Consultants Ltd, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing internal communications projects and campaigns. Your key responsibilities will include providing expert advice and support to different teams across the organization, ensuring their communications align with the internal communications principles and are planned on a forward-looking basis.

Key Skills and Experience:

•⁠⁠ Experience of working in internal communications or change communications
•⁠⁠ Demonstrable experience of communications project or campaign management and delivery, meeting challenging targets
•⁠⁠ Strong teamwork skills and flexibility in approach to work with the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple projects without losing focus, leading external and internal resources to meet challenging deadlines
•⁠⁠ Ability to write creatively and convincingly and experience of latest communications techniques

About the Role:

This is a key role within the Internal and Engagement communications team, working closely with Directorate change partners to support the delivery of key organisational change projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for developing relationships and acting as a trusted advisor with senior leaders and managers on internal communications, and supporting a variety of internal communications channels such as the MetNet intranet, viva engage, all staff briefings, and town halls.

Requirements:

•⁠⁠ Experience of working in internal communications or change communications
•⁠⁠ Demonstrable experience of communications project or campaign management and delivery, meeting challenging targets
•⁠⁠ Strong teamwork skills and flexibility in approach to work with the ability to prioritise and juggle multiple projects without losing focus, leading external and internal resources to meet challenging deadlines
•⁠⁠ Ability to write creatively and convincingly and experience of latest communications techniques
