Drama Teacher Job Description

At Step Teachers, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our team of educators. As a Drama Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and creative group of students, helping them to develop their passion for theatre arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in drama, theatre arts, and related subjects.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and develop individualized plans to support student growth.
  • Maintain a well-organized and professional classroom environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans, implement school policies, and contribute to the overall educational program.
  • Comply with school regulations, maintain accurate records, and ensure the reliable implementation of school policies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching drama and theatre arts at the secondary level.
