NSG Environmental Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior EC&I Design Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical control and instrumentation systems, with experience in design and development of control systems for a variety of industries, including nuclear.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing CE&I design concepts, including SLD's, BCD's, cable schedules, layouts, and other related documentation.

They will also be responsible for knowledge of control system hardware and software, experience in Functional Safety (BSEN 61508 &), and the ability to produce designs that conform to relevant British and European standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production of CE&I design concepts, e.g. (SLD's, BCD's, cable schedules, layouts, etc).
  • Knowledge of control system hardware and software.
  • Experience in Functional Safety (BSEN 61508 &).
  • Produce designs that conform to the relevant British and European standards and client requirements.

Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering Degree, HNC or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Membership of appropriate technical / professional body.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or Level 2 Health & Safety in the Workplace or equivalent.
