Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Education Leader to head up our thriving Religious Studies Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction of the department, developing and implementing curriculum plans, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Leadership: Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with national standards and guidelines.
  • Department Management: Lead and manage a team of educators, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality education.
  • Student Achievement: Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to enhance student outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with best practices in education, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school to develop and implement school-wide initiatives, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and the wider community.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in education leadership, with a strong track record of improving student outcomes.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of educators.
