About this role

BlackRock Global Markets & Index Investments (BGM) is seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager to join our EMEA Index Equity Investments team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex transition management rebalance events and daily portfolio management responsibilities for some of our largest institutional clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their investment portfolios and desired strategic or tactical changes.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of portfolio changes to evaluate shifts in exposure and required trading.
  • Develop and implement bespoke trading strategies in collaboration with internal global trading desks.
  • Perform daily portfolio management tasks, including liquidity management, portfolio re-balancing, corporate action analysis, client activity, risk, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead team communication and presentations with clients.
  • Establish strong relationships with Global Trading teams to navigate rebalances and large-scale investment events.
  • Engage with business partners to provide thought leadership and advice on high-quality client solutions.
  • Contribute to operational improvements that lower risk and increase efficiency across global teams.
