Primary School Teaching Assistant for Children with Disabilities

The SEN Teaching Assistant role at Academics Ltd involves providing high-quality support to a child with special needs in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring the child achieves their targets and develops in a supportive environment.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans, taking into account the child's unique needs and abilities.
- Deliver targeted interventions and activities to support the child's learning and development.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive support.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, ADHD, and Non-Verbal students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, teachers, and parents.
- Strong patience and empathy, with a nurturing approach to supporting children's unique needs.
