About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care Connect Team in North Kent. As an Investigating Officer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding adults and ensuring their well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and investigations to identify safeguarding risks and needs.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to support adults at risk.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to social care officers within the team.
  • Contribute to the development of practice, skills, and knowledge within the team.
About You

We are looking for a qualified Social Worker with post-qualification experience in Social Services, Health-related agencies, or related private or voluntary organizations. You will hold a registration with a professional body (Social Work England) and have experience of managing risk and completing safeguarding enquiries.

You will be a positive, forward-thinking individual with a strengths-based approach to practice. You will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and have a likeminded approach to social care and safeguarding.
