Commercial Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our fitout client and ensure the smooth running of projects from beginning to end.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough site surveys and analyze project specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and subcontractors, and negotiate with subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare tenders, material take-offs, and final project costs, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Utilise strong organisational and communication skills to keep everyone informed and ensure the project runs smoothly.
- Experience in preparing cost estimates for construction projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and dedication to exceeding client expectations.
