Location: West Yorkshire

Salary: >£45k

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our fitout client and ensure the smooth running of projects from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough site surveys and analyze project specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  2. Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and subcontractors, and negotiate with subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  3. Prepare tenders, material take-offs, and final project costs, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  4. Utilise strong organisational and communication skills to keep everyone informed and ensure the project runs smoothly.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in preparing cost estimates for construction projects.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and dedication to exceeding client expectations.
