We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our team as a Lecturer in Film and Television/Media Production. With a strong background in film production and education, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a UK Honours degree or UK ENIC recognised degree in a relevant subject and a PGCE or other relevant teaching qualification. They should also have practical experience of working in the film, television or media industries and experience of working in an educational environment.

In this role, you will plan, teach and assess Level 2 and Level 3 vocational courses focused on the Film, Television and Media Production industries. You will work closely with the Film and Music Curriculum Manager to deliver excellent results and encourage more young people to pursue careers in the industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals
