">Your Role: As an Automotive Claims Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients with presenting valid insurance claims, driving settlements within our Delegated Authorities, and negotiating claim settlements with clients, insurers, and other key stakeholders.
">Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with the presentation of valid insurance claims.
- Drive insurance claims settlements and settle claims within the limits of your authority under the company's Delegated Authorities.
- Negotiate and obtain settlement of claims, liaising with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and any other relevant parties as necessary.
- Provide Account Directors, Account Executives, and/or Directors with claims management information as required.
- Attend and make presentations at client meetings as required.
- Comply with relevant regulatory requirements and the company's procedures.
- Ensure that claims records are complete and kept up to date.
- Maintain good working relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Undertake additional duties or assist other members of staff as may be reasonably requested by your Manager or the Directors.
About You:
- You have previous experience handling Delegated Authority claims from cradle to grave.
- Cert CII/Dip CII qualification desirable and educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- Previous experience within the insurance industry and expert claims handling focus within Household/HNW claims.
- You possess strong client service drive along with forward planning and analytical skills.
- You have exceptional communications skills, task-focused, and keen to develop your career.
- You're able to spot potential risks and seek advice when required; by applying due diligence and adhering to company processes.
- You're proficient in the utilization of Acturis ideal.
- You're eligible to work in the UK.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary of £45,000 per annum.
- A minimum of 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and the option to 'buy' extra days.
- A defined contribution pension scheme, which Gallagher will also contribute to.
- Life insurance, which will pay 4x your basic annual salary, which you can top-up to 10x.
- Income protection, we'll cover up to 50% of your annual income, with options to top-up.
