Welding Technician

Job Requirements:

We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team at The Recruitment Co. for a large waste management company based in the North West region.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out welding and cutting operations to repair, maintain and fabricate equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Performing MIG welding tasks to repair and maintain equipment and machinery
  
• Carrying out cutting operations to fabricate new equipment and parts
  
• Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with safety protocols
  
• Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve project goals
  

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• 
  
• Valid coded welding licences or be a time-served welder
  
• Previous experience in MIG welding and cutting operations
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety
