Key Responsibilities
  • Product Vision and Strategy
    • Act as the primary liaison, leveraging your commercial acumen to comprehend and foresee client and market needs while shaping the product vision.
  • Development and Delivery
    • Oversee the development stages including collaboration with product and development teams to plan, execute and review each sprint.
    • Take accountability for each stage of the development process and work closely with the team to refine and improve the development process.
  • Product Evaluation and Improvement
    • Evaluate product progress, inspect and assess progress through each iteration and determine if the final product is acceptable.
    • Assess problems and processes in a way which is understandable to key stakeholders, both business and technical, and facilitate the analysis and design of effective solutions.
  • Commercial Outcomes and Results
    • Articulate the specific commercial outcomes or results of the product to the team.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer requirements and develop strategies to ensure the success of the product.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a product owner preferably in an e-commerce B2C environment delivering new, and iterations of existing products using agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce business processes, customer behavior and market trends.
  • Experience of product launches including user-feedback / product discovery.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to make data driven decisions.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and design thinking.
