About the Opportunity

GSL Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a Secondary Special Needs School in Birmingham & Oldbury.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children with challenging behaviour and SEN requirements, and will be able to provide 1:1 support and implement strategies to manage behaviour.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with complex needs.

Key Features
  • £83 - £87 per day depending on experience.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am- 3:30pm (day to day, short & long term).
  • Location: Birmingham & Oldbury.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour in an education or support setting.
  • Personal experience working with challenging behaviour, mental health, SLD, PMLD and Autism.
  • Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Check on the update service.
  • 2x References.
  • Teaching Assistant Level 3 Qualification or similar.
