Job Title: Information Security Director

The Inspired Thinking Group (ITG) is seeking an experienced Information Security Director to lead our security efforts and ensure the protection of our clients' data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to safeguard our clients' data and systems.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, recovery, and post-incident analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with UK regulations, such as the Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018 and GDPR.
  • Develop and deliver targeted security awareness programs for employees.
  • Manage and mentor a team of security professionals.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of security technologies and third-party services.
  • Support client-facing teams by providing security assurances to clients.
  • Develop and manage the information security budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in information security, with proven success in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, threat management, risk assessment, and security technologies.
  • Deep understanding of UK data protection laws and regulations.
