Role Overview:
Pertemps London Careers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager (Engineering) to lead the engineering and project management of the Council's Capital Projects programme. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering infrastructure projects, managing budgets, and overseeing project compliance with key legislation.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Project Manager (Engineering) and take charge of delivering a diverse portfolio of projects aimed at improving the borough's infrastructure and public spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the engineering and project management of the Council's Capital Projects programme, including Section 106 and Section 278 schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leading the engineering and project management of the Council's Capital Projects programme
• Managing budgets for capital projects ranging from £1M to £5M annually
• Overseeing project compliance with key legislation, such as the Highways Act 1980, New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, and the Flood Water Management Act 2010
• Supervising contractors and consultants to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in delivering infrastructure projects. They should have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and teams. A salary of approximately £65,000 - £85,000 per annum reflects the importance of this role in driving the Council's infrastructure development.
