Job Title: Pension Investment Strategist

The team

The Schroders Solutions division currently looks after over £200bn in assets across DB, DC and Insurance clients, predominantly based in the UK. We lead engagements with a range of pension scheme clients, bringing deep investment knowledge and investment strategy insights to our client relationships. We come from a variety of backgrounds including pensions, investment and actuarial consulting, solutions and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Leading client teams, management of key client projects working across UK Client Solutions and the wider Solutions business;
        • Encompassing the delivery of a wide range of investment services, from designing investment strategy and developing solutions in response to changing market conditions;
        • Developing content and supporting the creation of new initiatives and propositions to bring to market across the UK pensions landscape;

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need:

• Experienced professional with a background in investment consulting and leading large and complex client relationships;
    • The ability to work co-operatively with a range of groups and deliver agreed projects on time in line with client expectations;
    • Some experience of pitching and winning new business and with an appetite to do more;
    • A sound working knowledge of UK pension schemes, the investment challenges they face, and the regulatory environment in which they operate;

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
