Security Architect

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Principal Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing SIEM detections, automation, and SOC workflow enrichments.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement SIEM detections, automation, and SOC workflow enrichments
- Develop and maintain strong understanding of current threat landscape, data ingest, and telemetry requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Participate in incident management teams, responding to security events and investigating purported intrusions and breaches
- Evaluate existing and proposed technical architectures for security risk and provide technical advice to support the design and development of secure architectures
- Strong understanding of SIEM platforms, such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, Qradar, Exabeam, etc.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and SOAR automation
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks, such as MITRE Caldera and ATT&CK
- Knowledge of atomic red team and SOAR automation
- Strong work ethic and positive can-do attitude
- Bias for action and execution of tasks
- Willingness to grow skillset
This role requires UK national security clearance. As a Principal Security Engineer, you will be responsible for authoring, tuning, and deploying SIEM detections, threat hunting, and automation. You will also participate in incident management teams, responding to security events and investigating purported intrusions and breaches. Additionally, you will evaluate existing and proposed technical architectures for security risk and provide technical advice to support the design and development of secure architectures.
