Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD is partnering with a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Bromley, who are recruiting for a Senior Audit Manager to grow the audit function of their firm.
Company OverviewThis Chartered Accountancy Practice hasn't been auditing for 15 years but due to continued growth and demand they are looking to grow the audit function of their firm from scratch. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced audit professional to work on your terms have the flexibility to grow an entire portfolio and spearhead the growth of an audit subsidiary.
About the Role- Establish and develop the Audit Function of the practice leading its creation designing processes protocols and standards that align with the firm's strategic goals.
- Client Management and advisory build and maintain strong client relationships acting as a trusted advisor to deliver high-value audit insights and guidance.
- Audit planning and execution oversee end-to-end audit planning including risk assessment audit scheduling scoping and resource allocations.
- Lead complex audits ensuring work is completed within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Quality assurance and compliance ensure audits adhere to regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks.
- Team leadership and development recruit train and mentor a team of audit professionals fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Strategic growth identify new business opportunities within the audit function expanding the client base and service offerings.
You must be ACCA ACA or FCCA qualified possess an Auditing Certificate and be able to sign off on audits. You will have extensive experience in practice and audit with a minimum of 10 years' experience preferred. Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset required.
Package- Salary ranging from £70-80k + commission and bonuses on new business generated which will likely exceed a £100k salary.
