Job Description:

G4S Business Unit: US Youth Services seeks a highly skilled Maintenance Shift Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a critical position that requires a strong background in electrical maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Undertake all works in accordance with SLA and KPIs, site policies, Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain and update records including logbooks relating to statutory inspections.
  • Material Requisition: Identify, and arrange for the requisition of materials in support of assigned maintenance work orders.
  • Contractor Oversight: Oversee and escort contractors where required, ensuring their work is satisfactorily completed in line with risk assessments, method statements and contract SLAs.
  • Engineering Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of installed building engineering services.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (JIB Gold Card criteria met).
  • Safety Understanding: Electrical Isolation and Safety understanding.
  • Experience: At least 5 years minimum experience of building and facilities maintenance.
